Designing Invitations

Hi Everyone,

I was looking to design my own picture invitations for my DD 2nd Bday party. We are going to do a Pirate and Princess Theme and wanted to know what program you use to make it into a picture, and then going to Costco to get them developed. Any help anyone has would be appreciated.
