Design Studio update question

I don't have the gypsy, just CDS.

What does the May 2010 update do for CDS? I thought I read about adding grouping and being able to copy an image with the hide contour lines remaining hidden. I can't figure out how to group and I can't copy with the hide contour lines....

Any help is much appreciated.

Doesn't look like it does much for CDS.

Notes:
CDS hidden contours do not save. Gypsy hidden contours do save and can be show hidden when transferred to CDS. If you would like to create a design in CDS using hidden contours and plan on using it on your Gypsy, be sure to save the design as a .gypsy file and not a .cut file.

Do you know the work around, Susan? If you hide more than one contour in an image, it will save. If it's only one, it won't save. Also, if you copy and then paste and then save and reopen a file, you can hide contours in the copied images (ridiculous that it doesn't work correctly, but at least there is a way to make it work).

Thanks Jen. I didn't know the work around. I will try it. I have 45 images to cut for the ABC swap and I want to hide something. Such a pain. I suppose instead of trying to figure out a fast way in CDS, I should really just find something similar in SCAL.

Know what you mean Susan-CDS is so hard to work with after using SCAL. I never use it anymore...

Yep it is. I hate hate hate it and need it. I could never keep track of my images - -even though it stinks at that too. I do like to test out the size of an image though.

I skipped the hiding over and over again. I found something in scal that will work.
