Deserts on DDP

Can you request your deserts to go after a meal or do you have to eat them at the meal sitting?

Although not sure if it changed or not for 2008, in 2007 we got a few desserts to go and put them in the refridgerator in the room when we went back.

I would think there would be no issue in still boxing up desserts. We did it the last 2 years.... Dh doesnt like dessert, so I had him take his to go and I ate it later in the evening when DD was sleeping in the room and we were relaxing on the balcony of the hotel. I plan to do it again this year, just pick something that travels well!

There were times when we didn't want dessert and when we told the waiters we didn't want anything, some gave us packages of chocolate chip cookies. We had about 10 packages at the end of our trip.

There aren't too many deserts in WDW! There are PLENTY of DESSERTS!!!

If what you are asking is...can you eat your entree at one restaurant, then go to another and have dessert, or have the entree and the dessert on a different day...no.

You can't split dining credits. Everything must be ordered in the same transaction.

If you want the dessert for carry-out, the restaurant will probably box it up for you...but then you have to carry it.
