Desert PALMS Inn & Suites

I have been pricing out hotels for June (our first trip to DL) and decided to check out GAT. They have a package for Desert Palms Inn & Suites. It looks like it is on the corner of the DL property.

Has anyone stayed there? Looks like the walk isn't that bad. It is on the park side of Harbor.

I have seen things for Desert Inn which is different than this place.

It looks decent and we need a suite for the size of our family.

It's decent but nothing special. The free breakfast there is a little too late (I think it starts at 8) for when I was there and I wanted to be at the parks super early, but that wasn't a big deal. The walk isn't bad, but there are certainly a lot of other places that have shorter walks. With young kids, I would choose a closer place, especially if you are hauling a stroller all day, that walk back will seem exponentially longer at the end of each day. Or you can always shell out an extra couple bucks for Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) passes, but with that comes unflexibility and reliance on a shuttle.
