Desert only reservation

I made a reservation at CA grill and it's our intention to only order desert and drinks - if I thought I could definitely get one I would be fine with a lounge table - will the restaurant be annoyed with us - if we sit down and say we just want desert? Our plan is to spirt of aloha and then return to the CR , where we are staying for the desert / drinks .

It's perfectly fine to just order dessert.

You don't need an ADR to sit in the lounge, but it's a good idea to have one and then you can sit in the lounge is there's space. If there's no space in the lounge (which happens around firework time), then you have the 'safety net' of the getting a table with your ADR.
