Ok looks like we are going to Disney 2/16-2/18. We reserved a room at Anaheim Desert INN. I was wanting to see some reviews.
I can't wait to go. I think my DD and her boyfriend (his first time) are coming too with her son.

That was the one of the reasons we chose it. I hope it's descent in side and the staff is friendly.

The room we stayed in was good sized, the beds were kinda shot though.
Like CMHusband said,"nice and close".

DH has stayed here many years ago and he really liked in. We are thinking of staying here for our upcoming trip because of how close it is. I'm pretty sure they have an $8 parking fee now in case you have a car. :goodvibes

We are staying there for the first time in May. Please let us know how it is.

We just stayed there in December and booked another room today for our next trip! We liked it and the location can NOT be beat!

Stayed there in the past and loved it! The location can't be beat!

Well nice and close is a good thing then. I don't mind that it's not great place but a nice one is good.:thumbsup2 Sure don't plan to spend much time in room anyway.
Yes they charge for parking. The only thing is we may have two rooms and only one car. I hope I don't have to pay for that on the second room? Oh well I'll see if we need two or not. We are thinking of keeping the reservation for now but saving $$ sounds good too. :confused3

Desert Inn and Suites is really, really close to the DL entrance![see attached map] Desert Inn and Suites have refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. and 2 tv's. And they have an indoor pool, and FREE breakfast, Which at The least will get you free juices and milk!! to start your day!!

Here is a Map the arrow is pointing to the McDonalds and Quiznos! Breakfast at McDonalds will save you a few bucks to spend for meals in the park. It shows all the hotels on Harbor Blvd as well!!

I haven't stayed there (yet, we have a reservation for May), but I do suggest emailing them regarding your questions. I did (asking the opposite question - chances of parking 2 cars with just one suite) and they responded within a day with the answer (yes, its possible if there are enough spaces; otherwise, park at another hotel down the street for $15). My guess would be that you only have to pay for parking if you are actually parking a car there.

We stayed there in October and loved it! It was super close to the parks and the rooms were clean and comfy. The breakfast was not that great, but we typically bring our own breakfast foods anyways.
