This will be our first time at DI&S (August). In the past, we've stayed at a different hotel which sincerely did not have enough parking for all the guests when the hotel was full. We'll only be bringing 1 vehicle. Any of you DI&S vets - are we likely to encounter a problem finding a parking spot? We won't need to move the car very often during our 5 days, but we may go out to eat off-site or something a couple of times, or need to run to Target for something at some point...things like that.

What say you?

THANKS!!

There is a small parking area above ground and the rest go below ground. We got super lucky and got the spot closest to our room and it was a corner spot too :) We used the car for transportation to/from the airport and went to Target on the way to the hotel. On our last day we went to Hollywood and when we came back that night we had to have the valet guys park our car below ground (valet is included in the parking fee for hotel guests). So, no you don't have to worry about parking spots ;)

If you are wanting to always park your own car, then yes, you may encounter issues. There are also some very tight spaces. If you don't mind handing over the keys to let one of the valets do it, then you should not have any problems.

Yeah they only allow one car per room (even suites) so they can accommodate you. We have had them valet for us when it gets full and it's fine. We got our car pretty quickly and the guys were way nice. We tipped every time they had to bring us our car (like twice) and the other times we were able to go get it ourselves. Tipping isn't a requirement (it's included because it's necessary) but we still felt they were respectful, polite and quick so they deserved it.

Thanks for all the feedback! I guess we'll try to not have to leave during the week.

If you get there early and don't move your car, you should be fine. I got to the hotel around 2pm & checked in and parked. I couldn't get my room until later, so off to Disneyland I went for a few hours. I didn't move the car until I left.

We too parked the car and never moved it on both of our stays. That's generally how it is when we visit Disneyland.
