Someone told me that I could save the dessert credit on the DDP (lunch and dinner) and use that as a snack/dessert another time during our visit? Suggestions on confirmation? Thank you!

I have not heard this at all. My family has used some form if the DDP (deluxe, standard, and quick service). This would be great, but I highly doubt that it's true since you use one meal entitlement per meal, it's not separated.

You can use a snack credit later for most quick service desserts, so perhaps that is what was being referred to.

No, you have to use the entire CS or TS credit at one time. There is no way to "save" part of a credit to use later on. If you choose not to order a dessert or beverage at the time you order your meal, you will lose that part of the credit.

At some of the food courts in the resorts that have ice cream as a dessert option, you can let the cashier know you want the ice cream when you purchase your entree and beverage. Your receipt will be marked with a time limit (about an hour) so that you can come back for the ice cream when you're ready for it. This way you won't have a melted dessert, but there's no way you can go back several hours later or go elsewhere to get your dessert.

Nope, that would be incorrect. You must order your entire meal at the same time.

You can do the ice cream thing mentioned above, but you must still order it at the same time as your entree and beverage, and they give you a time limit to come back for it.

No you can't do that but some quick service desserts you could take home for another day
