Anything that speaks to me.
Specifically soundtrack music.
Gladiator, Narnia, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Carribean, you name it.
It tells a story with music. Battles, sadness, happiness, excitment. Anything.
It really gets my creativity in sync when I'm listening to it. It can remind me of something from the movie or relate to my daily life, depending. I think it's my favorite.
Especially Now we are Free by Hans Zimmer. Probably one of the most gorgeous songs I have ever heard in my life.
Broadway, for obvious reasons of story telling. If you're into the story, you'll appreciate it.
Other than that I don't really have a type. Most of the songs I listen to, the lyrics always play a part. I don't really get music for the beat. If I like the lyrics, I usually like the song. Of course I do like a good beat now and then even if I'm not so much into the lyrics. I also love different language music.
Carbon Leaf, John Legend, The Fray, Regina Spektor, Imogen Heap, Utada Hikaru, Five for Fighting, Rob Thomas, Michael Buble, the postal service and John Barrowman.
I have a very wide range. Oh, and natural sounds like rain, ocean, and things.
I also adore exotic music, like african tribal stuff. And inspirational things.
Like King of Pride Rock from The Lion King has such a power in it, and makes me feel great.
You know that Pause and Play music thing you mentioned on that healthy thread?
I got a bunch of their music, including the African ones, they're SO good.
