Oh and if I am really into a mellow mood I love to listen to Josh Groban and his beautiful voice.

I would love to attend a Josh Groban concert the way I look it would be so funny at all the people looking at me.

I'm into everything but rap really.

I love calm music, like acoustic. A good guitar and a good voice is lovely. I love rock, I love alternative and classic rock. I love a good voice and a piano too.
I like the random pop/hip hop song. I LOVE LOVE country, but mostly the stuff played on the radio.

I'm not really into female artists. Taylor Swift is about the only person other than Amanda Marshall on my ipod who has more than 2 songs. I just really dont' like female singers.

Well my favorite bands are all under the fueled by ramen/decaydence label except for underoath and blink-182
I love any "popular" genre but country.
I like some Queen, Metallica, and Red Hot Chili Peppers too.
I mainly stay in the rock and alternative (and the sub genres within them) for my music.

I truly do have a very ecclectic music collection.
I listen to anything and everything.

My main i guess "favourite" genre and my general preference would be mellow, acoustic love songs. Songs that make me feel--most of them make me cry! (which is pathetic but true) John Mayer, Joshua Radin and Jack Johnson have the most beautiful songs that just have so much emotion in them. Being the dramatic person that I am I just really love songs that can stir my emotions.
And songs that I can relate to my life and to love. I really love them.

and then on the other hand i love fun music that i can listen to and dance to and get excited about. lots of rap and hip hop and poppy sorta stuff.
anything from nappy roots to....jonas brothers (yeah i actually like some of their songs!)
and then on the OTHER hand (yeah i have 3 hands now lol) i am totally in love with music from the 1930s/40s/50s. I LOVE old jazz and big band music. It makes me so happy, like Dean Martin, Vera Lynn, Artie Shaw, THe Glenn Miller Orchestra. All the good stuff!! I just don't know why but I have such an affinity for that type of music.

i just love music in general!!!! i dont know much about the technicalities of it...but its just such a big part of my life and my emotional being.
(i probably sound like i huge weirdo, but i mean, im really in tune with my emotions haha)

My favorite band is the Vines, and they're garage rock revival. I dig the Strokes and the Hives, too, so maybs garage rock revive is my favorite genre?
But at the same time I love Lupe Fiasco and Kanye. But OH MY GOD Kanye needs to stick to rap. Did anyone else watch him on SNL?? Sooo bad. He is not a good singer, lol.

stuff that i can headbang to, sing in front of the mirror with, or scream at the top of my lungs.
i was raised on 80s power ballads, so i have a place in my heart for those too.
but i have to say that rock is my favorite.
i can really relate to it.
plus, i can get a little emotional with it too.

ummmm i LOVE the ditty bops!
i dunno what i'd call them.....folky-country-jazz?? no clue hahaha
i love them because im so into like old music from the '40s and they are one of the only bands that can convincingly evoke that sound
they're some awesome hybrid genre.

generaly speaking i'm an alternative and punk kind of girl. I love metal though... and screamo. No one would guess it by looking at me. I look like i'd be listening to like 50's music Music is just something that it doesn't really matter what it is too me. I listen to what i like. So like right now i'm listening to gym class heroes. While they are alternative they also have the hip hop asspect to them. I grew up listening to the local music scene (as unbelievable that may seem) so i still have a feel for the indie stuff.

I don't even know what different genres mean anymore. I like alt rock to classic rock. Indie to electro pop. Some rap and r&b to pop. Dance to ska. Seriously it goes from MGMT, Chromeo, to Hilary Duff and Miley to Aerosmith to Catch 22. Then there are lots of musicals. The one thing missing though I have to say though is country. None of that on my itunes.

screamo music.i cannot handle that.but that's just my opinion.
i like the normal everyday people kinda music.
like paramore,fall out boy,ne-yo,jason mraz, people like that.
