I just rang up to book for Jan and was told I had to pay 15% deposit....is this correct? I dont ever remember it being this much before!

yes, I'm sure another Irish forum member posted to say that if you book from Ireland now, you have to pay the deposit.

As of last week UK deposits have gone from 10% to 15% and Irish booking deposits have gone from 0 to 10%.

Don't know why they're not just all the same?!

just another wee query....if you live in the UK can you book through the Ireland site? I live in Northern Ireland which is obviously part of the UK but would rather only pay the 10% deposit

I think so (I know you can online but not 100% sure about whether you can if you phone) although obviously the prices may be different as you'd have to go by the irish site prices.

You can book any deal from any country just tell them when you phoned. We booked our upcoming trip from the French site as it was a better deal, they said no problem & out us through to that department

Im sure I paid either 30% or 40% deposit on our last trip! So wouldn't complain at 15%

oh not complaining...just wanted to make sure that was correct as i remember enquiring a few weeks ago and it was only 10%....think it just went up x
