deposit refund?

If I book and pay my deposit with Disney GCs, and need to cancel, how do they refund my money? Do they just credit back to my original stack of GCs (like CM is telling me?) or issue one new GC for the total, or something else? CM wasn't sure how to answer this one (although she was very kind!) and that makes me nervous.

I'm not sure about specifically Disney gift cards, but MOST places with gift cards, if a refund is issued, it is issued back to the original gift card(s). I would just suggest making sure to keep the gift cards until you are sure you won't be getting any kind of refund back on them.

It goes right back to the original form of payment. One time, I used different check cards from 2 different accounts, when they did my refund, it went back to the 2 accounts just as it had been taken.

I had an incidence once, where I had moved banks, they had to get guest relations to go in and change it so the money wouldn't go back to the closed account, but other than that, it will go back to the original GC's.
