Deposit Question

Hello, Planning a 4 night stay in February. Deposit is required upon booking, When is the remainder due?Am I able to pay it ahead of time?

Are you booking directly through the resort or through a travel agency? That might make a difference. We had one reservation through Aulani directly and the balance was due when we were actually there. Another reservation was through Costco Travel and the remainder of that one is due 45 days in advance. For the Costco one, we were told we could pay anytime between booking and the balance-due date. If you are direct through Aulani and want to pay in advance, just call and ask. I can't really imagine them saying no.

Are you booking a package or just a hotel stay? When I called to make our reservation, I originally wanted just a hotel stay. We would have had to pay one nights deposit, which was really expensive since it was a two bedroom villa. The CM told me that if I booked a package, I would only have to pay $200 deposit I believe. He said renting a car or booking the shuttle from the airport would qualify as a package. I thought we would have to book an excursion, but I was wrong. We needed a shuttle to and from the airport anyway, so it worked out. You just to pay the balance in full 30 days prior to your trip if you book a package. If you book hotel only, I think you can pay the remaining balance off anytime up to the day you arrive. Anytime we had extra cash, I would just call and make a payment. Hope that helps. But call and see. Every time I called the CMs were super helpful.

Thank you for the answers. I called and spoke with a representative. The remainder is due at the time of check in since I am not electing to book a package.
