We have 4 families going on the western. Some of us are heading to the parks after the cruise and some have an afternoon flight. We have the early dining rotation. What is the earliest time we can get off the boat (for those of us hitting the parks) and what is the latest (for those in no particular hurry). I'm trying to arrange car service pickup and need to know when to arrange it.

Also, I've read here that Delta has a check in at the port. Is that for anyone using Delta, or only if you are using the Disney transfers?? We're on a 3:40 p.m. flight.

Thanks.

The earliest time you can depart is based on several factors. Mostly whether the ship got back to Port Canaveral on time and how long US Customs takes to clear the ship. The decision is up to Customs. Assuming everything goes to plan, it's usually between 7:30-8:00 am when debarking begins. I believe they want everyone off by 9:00 am.

Delta does have a check-in at the port (or did when last I flew with them for a cruise). I believe if you have airline tickets, they will check your bags, but I'm not sure about this. The luggage service may be part of the DCL transportation. It wouldn't hurt to ask, anyway.

absame,
We just came from the 3/6 Eastern and they ask that you be out of your stateroom by 8:00am and off the ship by 8:30am. We were one of the first groups off when Customs cleared the ship at 8:00am. You have to keep in mind that they need to get people off the ship so that they can have it ready for the next group to board by noon that same day.

I'm not sure about the Delta check in at the port, but I hope the other info has helped you.

Thats for anyone using the 4 major airlines. We used it for US AIR 3 weeks ago when we got off the Wonder. Delta,US AIR Continental, and American were at the port then.
