Departure Day Questions

We are staying at FW Cabins and our plane does not leave until 5:25 pm. I would like to spend a few hours that day at either MK or DTD. My concern is just how to go about check out at making sure I get on the Magical Express the right time.

They'll give you a pickup time for ME that's about 3 hours before your flight. You'll have to be back at your resort a few minutes before that time. Since transportation times from the parks can vary, I'd probably plan on coming back to the resort for lunch. That way, you know you'll make it back in time. If you're early or on time, great, have a leisurely lunch. If you're late, just get something from the "grab and go" section. If you're really, really late, there's always delicious airport cuisine.
