[Denzbrujah]

Since I found Creative DISigns I've been completely "ADDICTED"

Many of you inspired me with your fabulous work so much so that I decided to try and create a few of my own.

I would love to be able to DISign for others and get my creative juices flowing but I am still self conscious about my work. I used to draw but lost my muse for it and have recently really started enjoying digital art.

So I'm seeking criticism from my peers. I DISigned the following for my 1st Trip to the world (less that 2 weeks away YAY!) . Alternatively there's one DISign I'm still not 100% on simply because the image I found was choppy (the Incredibles)

Anyway enough of my blathering onto the DISigns.

I'm not a disigner either, but I must comment that I really LOVE all the TEXTURE seen in your Goofy disigns... the font/lettering and the what looks like paper/scrapbooky-like background! Very cool and original

What program are you using? If you are using PS, use the magic wand tool to clean up the white outlines in your Incredibles design. Other than that I can't critique what's a pretty good start!

They look great!

The re-do on the Incredibles is much better and looks fantastic! As a general rule, if you blow up any graphic it will become blurry or pixelated. Better to find the largest possible file size for the graphic or move on to something else. I will often spend more time searching for the right graphic than in making the design itself.

I love the texture on the Goofy one. But my most favorite is the new Celebration one with the whole gang. Very colorful, playful and simple. Love it!

Great disigns! Can you tell me how you cleaned up the Incredibles one? I am having the same problem on a coloring page that I downloaded and "colored". I have photo impact. It does have a magic wand tool like the PP mentioned but I can't figure out how to make it do this.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their tips and kind words. I feel like I'm really starting to get the hang of this now and I totally see myself continuing to DISign even after my trip. It was an awesome feeling the 1st time someone asked me for one of my DISigns and the thought of some kid's smile & delight after recieving a shirt with my DISign on it makes me feel all warm n fuzzy inside.

I actually did what Amy suggested & searched for days for a decent sized line art file (aka coloring page) then i used photoshop to clean up any rough edges/splotches & then colored it in. the hardest part was the reflections on the leather and the logo's. I pretty much had to zoom in like 300% and paint them 1 pixel at a time. The end result was well worth the effort.

I will be printing & ironing on the DISigns today/tomorrow & will post pics once they're completed. Wish me luck

New Customizable Names Added -

These are my Second attempts @ doing names and I think they're better than my 1st atttempts. I also like how they give a more personal touch to everyones shirt while still giving the appearance of a matching set
(note the differances between my families choices of characters)

Basically I will add any character behind the letter of your choosing, So long as I have or can find an image. Note that I can also alter the color behind the characters or add a basic frame (see my other DISigns for example) should you so desire.

Sorry for the delay I'm not at home @ trying to do these on a Netbook is challenging to say the least. I did the Atila ones so far you can grab them from my photobucket account. I'm on my way home today @ will work on the family trip ones tonight.

New DISigns Added (See Post #1)

So I printed up all my DISigns last night & had 1 transfer left over so my wife tells me my sons been asking for a GI Joe shirt but everyone store she's searched only had dark/ominous and/or graphics that where violent in nature. So here's the end result of my attempt to make a non violent GI Joe shirt. Credit for the Ninja picture goes to a very talented artist named Malevolent Nate over on Deviant Art.

I also added a Thank You card. These are sized to 3.5" x 2" (standard business card size) so they are compact and can be printed 12 per page.
