I loved Denmark when I visited in 2003. Don't know about good deals but we went with DFDS from Harwich and stayed a week in a holiday centre in Funen. Legoland was wonderful, very crowded near the entrance and mini-land but soon opened up to feel more spacious. Many rides were similar to Windsor but all were slightly different. When we parked we queued for 20 minutes to get a parking ticket only to find they are exit tokens and we could have bought one when we got our park entrance ticket or in the gift shop.

Denmark isn't a very big place and their schools go back at the beginning of August - I doubt it would affect Legoland but many other attractions had seriously reduced hours from about the 8th August onwards.

Cresta also do holidays there.

I live in Denmark and just this year they've changed the time school gets back into session from the second to the third week in August. So you can count on extended hours all the way through august 15th. Legoland is a fun place and there are lots of other places of interest nearby eg Randers Rainforrest and some large aquariums.

Try checking the danish tourist board for further information or ask and I'll try to answer - It may take me a few days though since I'm in Florida right now and won't be online every day
