Yeah, what noel said.

Conservative Republican at a closed minded college where only liberal views are accepted. Oh yeah and most of my family voted for Nader in 2000 and probably will again b/c they don't like Bush and can't stand Kerry.

OMG what is wrong with you people? Can someone explain to me... why ANYONE... would want to pay MORE than we already do in taxes??? What illogical rationale do you use to convince yourself that you just don't pay enough? Your guy has GUARANTEED you that he's gonna raise your taxes. I don't know about you... but I paid 16k this year to the Fed... I believe that's more than enough of my hard-earned paycheck and I don't want to give another dime.

I realize there are many issues that draw you to your "party of choice." However... this is a big issue and I don't understand how anyone would be in favor of this. Would someone like to enlighten me? Am I missing something?

I guess I'm an unimportant libertarian....:D

I refuse to blindly pledge my allegiance to a party. I vote for the PERSON running... I know, I know, the party plays a major role in their decisions, but still. I don't understand how people can do that... but to each his own.

Every year it's different for me. This year, I'm going with ANYTHING but Bush. So I'm going to figure out who to vote for in order for my vote to be against him. LOL. I usually don't feel this strongly against someone in particular.

I usually vote independent hoping SOMEDAY we will have more than two parties that stand a chance.

Grew up in a Democrat home, but was always more moderate...now I am Republican all the way.

Does this answer the question?
I guess if you make more than 250,000 a year it would be Republican, and if you make less, then a Democrat??

Democrat in case you couldn't tell.

Proud member of moveon.org too.

Changed from an Independent to a democrat this year :)

I am kind of middle of the road because for some things I am conservative and for others I am liberal.

I am registered Democrat, have never missed voting since I turned 18. Have volunteered for m ycandidates since high school and tend to be pretty outspoken on my views. I'll definitely be voting for Kerry this year but have voted for a Republican on occasion (once or twice in local or Congressional elections).

How about this...it's costing us billions of dollars to pay the interest on the national debt. We aren't even touching the principle. Maybe if we work a little harder at tackling the debt we won't have to worry about funding for other issues/departments of government.

By the way...I am a card-carryin', tree-huggin', granola-crunchin' liberal hippie weirdo....at least according to my best friend.

Wow, I just woke up this morning to find out we must have gotten a HUGE raise overnight.

What GREAT news!!

One, taxes pay for the government, and the government is what keeps order and supports our way of life. So yeah, you can complain about your own personal expenditures, or give a few bucks to support our modern way of society. Be glad you don't live in England like I do right now...at least 5 times as much in taxes.

Two, Kerry actually supports cutting taxes for the middle/lower classes. He wants to increase taxes on the wealthy and get rid of a lot of the tax breaks George W gave to all his corporate friends.

Three, There are many, many, many other important things than taxes in the world of politics. If George Bush is incessant on sending our young lambs to the slaughter just because of his own personal agenda in Iraq, then I'm not going to vote for him just because he gives me a tax break. You cannot put a price on the hundreds of American, or even innocent Iraqi civilian lives lost because of the current imcumbent.

i am a registered democrat but i have voted for republicans before.
