So what's best?

A stay at a Deluxe Resort (like The Boardwalk) during a very busy time of year (school vacation) or at a Moderate Resort (POFQ or CB) (with perhaps an extra night or two) when it's less crowded?

Anyone?

Thanks a bunch.

It depends on many things. Do you plan on using your resort's amenities quite a bit? Do you like to do the parks commando style, or do you have a more relaxed vacation in mind? Does the though of riding the busses, and maybe having to stand on them, make you nuts? Hmmmmmmm?

The buses do drive me crazy. It's why I'll never stay at the AS resorts ever again. I love the convenience of BWI, but I'm nervous about the crowds (President's Day week).

Rent a car and avoid the buses entirely. That's what we do.

IMO, it is always better to go when it is less crowded. Since you also said you could stay a couple a extra days, I would definitely go moderate! Oh, and the busses at CSR are AWESOME!

On the moderate vs Deluxe question when it comes to buses, it has always been our experience that the Moderates have just a bad bus issues as the Value resorts especially when it comes to the end of a park day.

The Deluxe lines always seems to be shorter (perhaps I had queue envy).
