Deluxe Hotel Discounts

Okay so now I have decided to stay at AKL I was wondering if there is a specific time to watch for codes or specials to stay deluxe. Are there any discounts out there? I was sent a code, but it didn't fit into the time frame I wanted to book. I am a huge bargain hunter and love to save wherever I can

You can search online for the historical discount information. I think it may be listed on all ears? I think they get pretty specific, and list when discounts have been announced and covering what time period. We have seen discounts for appx 20% up to 40% off of deluxes at various times of the year, with variation sometimes for certain resorts (like less of a discount at Polynesian than BC, for example). We usually go with one of these room only discounts, though one year did pay rack rate. I don't remember when the last time is that I saw it as high as 40%, though. The historical info should help. Sorry I don't remember the source.

If you were sent a code, try saving a quote on the wdw site with the hotel & dates you want.
My hubby did this and after a week (I think) they sent him a new code that fit those dates.

Yes. Go to the WDW website and on the top drop down menu click on BOOK your vacation. It takes you to the screen to choose your dates and how many in your party, etc...do that and pick the resort you want to stay at. Then after you get the final quote go to the bottom of the page on the left hand side and click SAVE FOR LATER. That's how I got my pin code for my exact dates I had saved.

As long as you haven't already booked that trip, Disney will most likely send you either a free dining pin code or a room discount pin code. But once you book it you won't get anything in most cases. If they send you a free dining pin code and you really wanted a room discount pin code, call and ask if there is a pin code associated with your name. I have done this before and they said YES. At first they said it was a room discount but when I told them OH NEVERMIND I wanted a free dining pin code, they somehow mysteriously FOUND ONE in the system for me!! It was a miracle!

Sept typically has good room only discounts.. You can try calling to see if you get any PINS associated with your name as well
