You know I can't argue with most of your logic - you're dead on.
But I keep seeing people stretch out how much the Refillable mug will save you per day when comparing the DDDP with paying OOP... but is that really a fair assessment? Shouldn't the Refillable mug only be counted once? I mean even if you paid for it OOP it would still cover the same daily, but wouldn't cost anymore to purchase.

Oh I think the DDP is a super deal... It has given us the opportunity to eat at every resturant in the world that we have dreamed of... we are eating at a lot of signature meals... and character meals... if you look at the prices of a signature meal with an app and desert and drink... that is your 69.99 right there... so you still have another credit to use and if you use it for a buffet character breakfast you are looking at a $20 or so value... PLUS you still get 2 snacks... which you could be a $8 to $10 value... PLUS you still get the use of the refillable mug... lets say you only fill it up once a day so thats about a $5 value... you you are looking at saving at least $33 to $35 per adult per day... and it could be more depending on your meal at the signature resturant.. and you 2nd table service credit... we are staying for 8 nights so $35 a day X 8 = $280 savings per adult (we have 2) = $560 savings (AT LEAST)for our stay... Plus as we look at the kids menus the $19.99 is going to give us a savings... of at least $10 to $15 per day... so there is another $80 to $100 savins for the trip... AT LEAST... so we are looking at saving in excess of $650 in food savings...
We had decided to go to disney before the DDP was announced and now we are even more excited.... and we just cant wait!!! and are super excited about the ddp... and we know they will get the kinks out by may...

The Deluxe ddp is a good deal.
holidays and not wanting to wait in long lines for CS meals......I never though about it that way but the poster made a good point. I take comfort in knowing my meals are paid for and already planned. I like to know where I am going and when....I want to take my tme and have a plan.....nonetheless I do leave room for flexibility. Plus I enjoy the sit down dinner where I am spending quality time with my family and you can't but a price tag on that....

FYI

I was beginning to feel like
I remember reading another poster, who claimed to be boycoting(sp?) the DDP because of the change and will bring food from home and eat CS during their stay. That is not my idea of a vacation...... I want to be pampered all the way!!!!! Everyone enjoy and I hope we all gain 5 lbs!!!!
