Deluxe Dining Question

I was just checking some of the menus on allears.net and it got me wondering- On the deluxe you are suppose to get a appetizer, What happens if the resturant doesn't have appetizers? I noticed that Beaches and Cream which is a table service and The Plaza both do not have apps. listed.
Certainly we will be fine without the apps. but just wondered if anyone else has run into this.

The plaza offers soup or salad as an appetizer. I'm not sure about B&C but I'd imagine it would be similar.

I think at Beaches, you could probably get an order of soup, salad, onion rings, etc.

Yum.... Onion Rings !! Okay so these two places sound great for lunch. I have an ADR for THE Plaza, does anyone know how long we should expect to wait for a table at Beaches and Cream at 12:00 - I know right at the height of lunch hour. But the fantasmic package is making us eat dinner at 5:20- So we have to have the NO WAY JOSE - at least five hours before dinner time !!!

I would do a light breakfast and eat right when they open at 11 or even get to Beaches & Cream no later than 11:30.

We did lunch there the Saturday before Easter, Disney's busiest time, and we were there when they opened. We were seated immediately and notice no line until about 11:40-11:45. Up until then they were seating people as they walked in.

Thanks for the help !! I am going to try to get my DH out of bed a little early as it is- We have to get those fastpasses for Toy Story Mania -

Maybe I will just skip the entree at Beaches and Cream and have the No Way Jose for my meal - it is vacation !! And think of the calories I could save by skipping the entree and going right to dessert !!
