I just wanted to know if appitizers are included on the deluxe plan. I know they are not included on the basic plan. Thanks

I thought that was a good thing when I was planning my Christmas trip last December, but in hindsight.....you could die on the Deluxe Dining plan..My sister and went during free dining, so we upgraded to Deluxe for about the same price as Regular dining would have cost us...we planned and picked every restaurant with care...we salivated over food porn for months. Finally the day came...Oh my goodness.....three meals a day...table service with appetizers and dessert ..two snacks a day ..you can get milkshakes for your drink.. After a couple days..we dreaded meal time. we were NOT hungry and it took a ton of time to go to all these reservations. We sat beside two ladies at Kona Cafe one morning..they were on the DxDP also....they were a little green ..just like us.. Believe me..we are not skinny girls, but this plan brought out the worst in us and we just could not eat all the food..plus, we were disappointed in some of the restaurants , probably because we were so full, nothing tasted very good. You know food tastes better when you are hungry. I say you do DxDP at your own risk. Don't say I didn't warn ya! Next time, we are going to share some meals and skip the dining plan, unless it's free, and then we will use some sense.

there is another way to use the deluxe dining--you don't have to eat 3 meals a day...and you can stretch your credits out. We've covered 3 days with our 2 nights worth of meals...that's 6 meals over 3 days: Easy to do.

OR you can use a snack credit for a light breakfast, have a nice table service lunch around 11:30, and the five or six hours later have a signature restaurant meal. So you'd use all 3 table service credits, but actually only eat 2 restaurant meals. That said, either way we rarely use up the snack credits in the parks...typically we use leftover snacks to take bakery items home with us. The best tip I have for anyone using the Deluxe plan is watch your reservation times, and make sure there is at least 6 hours between ADRs...if you schedule lunch for 12:30, don't schedule dinner before 6:30. With every meal coming with app/entree/beverage/dessert, you need that much time to process the food, lol.

I agree if you try to eat 3 large table service meals a day you'll probably not be able to do it.
