We are going in January and seriously thinking about getting this plan. Not because we want all the food but more for entertainment side of things. My children LOVE LOVE Character meals. This trip we are going to take things slow. We just joined DVC so we don't have the need to see and do everything. It's more to just get away from Ohio winters. We have a 1 bedroom reserved at BW and I love the idea of room service etc...

So anyone else going to try it?

We will try it. It is our 10th anaversiry trip and want to splurge! :thumbsup2

We are going to a bunch of character meals!:thumbsup2

I already booked it for our Christmas 2008 trip. My family and I are major foodies so the chance to eat at all the 2TS signature restaurants is a real treat for us!

We have decide to buy it. A little concerened because our trip starts 01/01/08 so the snack credits might become an issue. I know what the brochure says. I really like the DP snack list on these boards though.:thumbsup2
Hey I might be able to add to the list they start for 2008 when I get back.

Yep, another one for Deluxe. I booked it during the free dining promotion for next year, just paid to upgrade. I am totally hooke don wdw food so I cant wait to try 3 restaurants per day..lol (not relaly but we will be trying at least 9 of them)

Just booked our families trip for 3/08 and got the Deluxe DP. What I didnt know is that you can book ressies 6 months in advance. Needless to say this was a plus that I took advantage off and have 5 days of breakfast and dinners booked.

We are trying it for our Aug trip:yay:
We do 10 days and dont need to hurry and we to love character meals:cloud9: and also have been wanting to try some other 2 credit places so its the delxue plan next trip for us!:thumbsup2

Another one for the Deluxe dinning plan from 4/6 -4/11/08. We can't wait until we can go to character meals as well as 2 signature meals. :thumbsup2

It works out perfectly because we will get there early on our 1st day & leave in the afternoon on our last day. :cool2:

While we probably won't be able to eat all the snacks, we can bring some of the cookies & stuff for the ride home. Also looking forward to the refillable mugs! popcorn::

Only 197 days to go! :dance3:

We've got it booked for our trip in May. DH likes to eat so many different places, we ended up paying oop for 3-4 meals anyway.

I think we are going to do the Deluxe plan for your April 2008 trip. We are DVCers, so it will be nice to do some of the signature places.

I have not heard of the delux dining plan? What is the difference from the regular dining plan? Where can I get info?

With the Deluxe you get 3 meals and 2 snacks per day. You decide if you want those meals to be table service or counter. This is of course per paying person. Cost is 69.99 per adult and 19.99 per child 3-9. C/S includes appie, entree, desert and drink. This also includes a refillable mug at the resort for each person. I'll search for the link.

We've booked the DXDDP for our Feb trip. Have Narcoossee's, CRT, HDDR, Hollywood Brown Derby, and California Grill booked on it. Can't wait!

I really really thought about doing it, but with 7 of us (4 adults/disney adults) it would be 800.00 more for our trip. We could schedule an extra meal a day OOP and still come out cheaper since the original plan is free on the bounceback program we booked under.

We are doing it for our May 08 trip. Since this trip is for our DD's college graduation, we are letting her pick the place to stay and then she said she would like the deluxe dining. I like to eat A LOT when I'm on vacation so it sounded good to me. I still had to do some calculations so I could tell DH (Grumpy) how much more it would be costing us. I'm really looking forward to trying to decide where we can eat this time.

Did anyone notice that most of the signature places require a dress code of business casual too? Ugghh, we definitely travel light when we vacation and we all have matching shirts and shorts on usually. Not really business casual...I guess that would limit our choices too if we did the deluxe plan.

We will be doing for our January trip...We really wanted to experience the 2 credit table service restaurants this trip...We are so excited!! :cool1:
