This question is based on a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) on the dining plan.
We have used the normal dining plan many times and are really familiar with it.
you are given 2 adult TS credits, 2 child TS credits, 4 CS credits, and 4 snack credits per day. My question is -- when you get the Deluxe dining plan, is it listed as 3 adult meal credits per adult each day and 3 child meal credits per child each day or is it listed a one grouping of meal credits.
If anyone has a copy of a receipt showing how the meal credits are listed for the deluxe plan, it would be helpful.
thank you for your information.

No matter how they are listed on the receipt, Disney's written rule is that credits for which a child's price was paid should be used for the children's menu, where one is available. Children don't have the "option" on any dining plan to get an adult meal at counter service unless the counter service has no children's menu.

Posts that discuss using them any other way will be deleted, per DIS Restaurant Board policy.

Not sure when the last time you used the DDP, but effective this year, CMs are not allowed to let kids order off the adult menu, even at CS, if that restaurant has a child's option. Your room key will say 2A 2C and you won't be allowed to order more than 2 adult and 2 child's meals at a transaction.

Unless things have changed very recently, DxDP credits remaining showing at the bottom of the receipt show all of the credits "lumped" together, just like DDP CS credits (and for the same reasons). It is your responsibility to make sure you're using kids' credits for kids' meals.

True, but their room key will show how many adults and how many kids are in the room. They won't be allowed to order more adult meals than they have adults listed on that room key in the same transaction.

Right. I was just answering the question regarding how they're tracked on the receipts. The KTTW cards definitely control how many adult and child meals may be ordered at one time.

Last year you just got a pool so if 4 people for 4 days you would have 48 credits. It DXDP works like CS credits- one group you can order what KTTW says so no more then 2A and 2C at one transaction. Basically it is up to you to use child credits for kids meals unless at a CS with no kid's menu.
