Let me start by saying I truly believe that the DxDp will be too much food for our family. BUT, after we got free DDP for 4 nights of our 6 night October trip I started crunching numbers. I had already paid for category 1 seating for HDDR and I was planning on paying OOP for a few meals here and there. After switching HDDR to category 2, upgrading to deluxe was going to ultimately cost me just $300 for our family of 5. Kind of made sense. Plus, I will really have just one day at the end of the trip that we can't use credits and I'm thinking we will try to do a waterpark that day and kind of hang low.

I would love some thoughts on a few things and just my schedule in general. This is our first trip....

We will get a total of 12 Meal credits to use....this is what I have so far......oh and we are staying at POR.

Saturday - arrival day - head to AK - Maybe do a CS lunch, get to resort around 5pm. dinner at DTD - Raglan Road 8:30

Sunday - rope drop for MK. Lunch at LTT 12:45. Break around 3pm and go back to resort to nap, swim, shower. Late dinner at Chef Mickey's 9:30. Wondering about the firework viewing here? It will be hallowishes.

Monday - sleep in a bit - late breakfast (10ish) either at Kona or Boma or Ohana (can't get reservations for Ohana right now). Boma sounds really interesting but farther from where we ultimately want to be. Anyway, MK around noon and HDDR at 4pm. Back to MK for parade and fireworks.

Tuesday - 8:05 H&V, HS morning. Late lunch at sci-fi 1:30. Break at 3pm for swim/naps/rest. 9pm dinner at DtD Rainforest Cafe.

Wednesday - I have no reservations. I want to do Epcot this day. This will be the last day we can use dining credits and I will have 2 or 3 left. Definitely plan to use any leftover snack credits at the F&W booths for lunch/snacks while in the park. Thinking of either breakfast or dinner at cape may or maybe a signature dinner at yachtsman steakhouse. Would book Ohana dinner for sure if I could snag a reservation.

Thursday - waterpark - will pay OOP for CS stuff. Really think we will be fooded out at this point. Will probably do Epcot that night.

Friday - departure day.

Thanks for any and all advice!

For your Sunday night - Hallowishes is at 9:30 so you won't be able to see it if your reservation is also at 9:30.

Monday why not do breakfast at Crystal Palace so you are at MK otherwise you won't have time to do anything.

Thought about CP. no reservations available right now. But we will have been at MK the day before (hopefully for RD) so I really didn't plan on getting there too early on Monday. We will be there from about noon-3pm, then go to HDDR and then back to MK for parade and fireworks (6-10ish).

For Monday I would do Kona for now (Tonga Toast yum!) and try for Ohana if that's what you really want.

I'd do exactly this.

Since you are interested in Boma, try a late breakfast/early lunch there on Saturday instead of a CS at AK. You'd be close by.

I booked for Kona right now. And good idea about arrival day.
