Hi-
Traveling to Disney for a dream vacation Dec 12-17 myself, DH, DD12,DD9.
On Delexe Dining plan -
I was wondering if anyone has had luck with their 3-9 year old ordering off adult menu? My understanding is it states kids order off kids menu but all credits are pooled together and some have been encouraged to do so.
My 9 year old daughter would prefer adult dinner if possible . She is big for her age , most people think she is 12.
I know we could upgrade her to be safe but if she can order off adult at most of the restruants I feel they is no need for extra cost.
Eating at Be Our Guest dinner , California Grill, Sci Fi, Flying Fish, 50's Prime, Via Naploi(heard they are very picky may pay OOP for her)T Rex and Narcocceees
The rest are buffets or family style ,so no issue there
Thanks for any impute in advance!
Our family has saved for 5 years for this trip and we are so excited to go!!

You should be okay, but there really is no guarantee. Just remember, even if they say no, the other three of you will all be able to order adult apps and desserts that you can share with her. Personally, I wouldn't pay OOP for her at VN unless you have a way to use that extra credit. The kids menu does have pizza, and again, the rest of you can share with her. If you have a spot for one more meal, then maybe you pay OOP for all of you at VN and share a MEZZO pizza.

Like with CS credits, DxDP credits are pooled. Use 3 credits for 3 meals, adult or child. There's no age check or anything.

Edited to add: Though at "admission" meals (buffets, dinner shows, etc.) you should make sure she is treated as a child, not an adult, if you are going to tip based on a percentage of the list price of the meals.

My 8 year old ordered off the adult menu on the DxDP several times on our most recent trip. He got quite the kick out of ordering a $54 steak at Yachtsman. The only place that didn't allow us was T-Rex and I think that may be because it's not Disney owned. We had also booked the Electrical Parade package at Tony's and with that package, they did not allow him to order off of the adult menu, although they said if it weren't that special package, it would not have been an issue - which actually made no sense to me, but he wasn't all that hungry that day anyway, so it was fine.
