I've seen some posts here that say you DO get the resort refillable mug but when I look at the WDW booking site the mug is not listed for Deluxe DDP

So, what are people currently/recently traveling finding out? Is this a true no mug situation or is it like the snack credits that people are getting something different when they get there. (how the snacks are not as limited as the brochure says)

I was on the DxDDP in May and got the free resort mug, plus two snacks per day.

I got the paperwork with all the vouchers in it last week for my Sept trip and among things listed on the Guest Itinerary are: Resort Refillable Mug 1 per person. It also says Deluxe Plan Snacks 1 per person, but the paperwork I received last spring for my May trip said the exact same thing. When I called the CM said the Deluxe Plan Snacks 1 per person meant one plan per person, which was two snacks. Sure enough when I arrived, it was two snacks per night of stay per person. Don't worry about it.

As far as snacks I didn't think they were limited. I got a Strawberrry Shortcake at Sunshine Seasons, 6 Beignets at POFQ, an Apple Charlotte and a huge piece of carrot cake at the Main Street Bakery, and three pastries at the French bakery (Raspberry Schuss, Napolean, and a Pithivier) to keep in the fridge for breakfast for a few days. The rest of my snack credits I used at Goofy's on my last day to get a Milk Chocolate Mint Smoothie slab, Carrot Cookie, German Chocolate Cookie, and four pieces of fudge. I was traveling solo thank goodness. I 'd hate to think how many snack credits I would have had to use up that last day if I was traveling with family. In Sept we'll have 48 snack credits between the three of us, so I know we'll have to hit up Goofy's again on our last day for stuff to bring home.

oh yeah, the snack credits rock!

I'm going to use a bunch of them @ the food and wine festival and whatever is left I'll buy the Mickey Mouse cheddar crackers (like Goldfish, but Mickey shaped) for DS. I figure I'll have enough to keep him in crackers for a year... :lmao: {7 nights / 2 guests / 2 snack per day - 28 snack credits! yeah, I need to pack a small extra bag just for his treats!}

The mug deal isn't a make or break thing, just was curious since I was seeing two different things on it.

Just have to make myself remember that tips are no longer included. We've done the meal plans for so long, it's habit to not tip down there.

Don't worry they won't let you forget.:rotfl: When you get your bill it will have an 18% and a 20% suggested gratuity already printed at the bottom for you. Also at Tutto Italia and California Grill the waiters mentioned that gratuity was no longer included. It wasn't mentioned anywhere else thank goodness, but the suggested amounts were clearly printed on the ticket where you couldn't miss it.

I think being told by servers would be rude, but having it on the check is a good idea! I also like that they have 18% listed! I hate having to stop and figure that out! LOL (10% / 20% easy as pie - but 18% I have to think, and my brain doesn't work that well when I'm full! :rotfl2: )
