Deluxe AP and blocked day?

We have 1 trip planned for November and we are thinking about another in January or May. When I look at the deluxe AP there are no black out dates for our dates in November and only 1 in May. Can you go to DL on a deluxe AP during the blackout times. I thought I read somewhere that if you attend on a blocked day you can pay $35.00 to get into the parks. Does anyone know? The DL web sight did not answer my question.

You can get in for $30 on a blockout day no matter which AP you have.

Yes it is $30, but my understanding is that if you have parking on you deluxe it can not be used on a block out date, so you must still pay for parking. Though i think it really depends on how well the people in the ticket booth pay attention. Sometimes i've seen them check the date other times they don't seem to care.

I copied this from the Annual Passholder Frequently Asked Questions section on the DL web site:
"How much is a Blockout day ticket and where can I purchase it?

Blockout day tickets are available for sale at the Main Entrance Ticket Booths for $30.00. A Blockout day ticket is valid only when purchased and used on the same day. Annual Passholders must present their valid Annual Passport and valid Blockout day ticket to be admitted into the Disneyland® Resort theme parks."
