Delta MSP to MCO $207.50 (all inclusive)

Tonight I booked two trips from Minneapolis to Orlando for $207.50 roundtrip including all taxes and fees. One trip is for October and the other is for March 2004.

Glad I grabbed this yesterday - it is now back up to $520!!

We had Delta vouchers that expired on 6/1/03 and with 2 weeks left, we thought they were going to be wasted. Delta flights from MSP to MCO have been running well over $300/rt.

I checked the prices and suddenly they had dropped to $207.50, I quickly called and put a hold on them. They are now back up well over $300 for our trip.

Delta often runs these 1 day sales and the only way to catch them sometimes is to check daily or a couple of times a day. In this case, my Travelocity fare watcher didn't even catch the lower price.

I was talking to the reservationist at Delta and he also commented on how good the 207.50 price out of MSP was. Although I've paid as little as $98/rt on Delta during a 1 day sale right after 9/11, the person at Delta seemed to think that the "super sales" may be gone forever and getting low $200 out of MSP may be as good as we ever get.
