People traveling from BOS to MCO in August check your flights! We just found out that Delta cancelled our flight from BOS leaving at noon and arriving in MCO at 3pm! They put us on a flight leaving at 2:30 and arriving at 5:30pm. That is a 2 and 1/2 hour difference. We have ressies at Raglan Rd. for 5:30! I was told that flight no longer exsists. I called and changed our flight to the am one. Had I not called, we may have ended up on the later flight-unexceptable! Now I am keeping an eye on the flight returning home, because a few days before we are to depart, they have taken away the afternoon flight. I am waiting for that to change too! Keep checking you flights from Delta! They never even notified us!

Our flights were changed last August @6 times!!!!!!! No more Delta for us. :sad2:

I got an email from Delta notifying us our flight in May was changed from 10:40 to 11:10am...no biggie...they kept our seats the same too. This is only the 2nd time since I booked last June that they changed. They gave me better seats also. Every airline does this...not just Delta. My return flight on AA was also changed. They notified me and kept my seats the same.

We had problems a little over a month ago for our May flight but not with delta with united who is sending us on a usair plane and we booked through orbitz, we had paid for a non stop slight that left late afternoon andthey stuck us on a connecting flight that got in past midnite so after 7 hrs on the phone with reps from orbitz, united, and usair, my dad FINALLY talked them into changing us and they put us on a nonstop flight that gets in early afternoon instead of leaving late afternoon, but we will be more careful when booking online from now on, orbitz even admitted it was their fault that we were not notified. Hopefully thats the only problem we have!!!

Then you should probably stick exclusively with Southwest, as they are just about the only airline whose schedule is basically written in stone, once it's released.

Even JetBlue has had some changes recently, and ALL the legacy carriers do it as well. This is not exclusively a Delta problem.

I think it's good practice to keep an eye on your flights anyway, regardless of which carrier you're flying with.

I've already booked my flight TO Florida for next February on Delta. I KNOW there will be flight number changes, and probably time changes. Basically, by booking this early, I've locked in a seat on the plane, and a price I can live with. I check them about once a week, and if there are any changes, I call and get our seats reassigned.
