Well - we've been cancelled and rescheduled so many times during the past week that my head is spinning. We just got off the phone with Delta again. We have now lost a day on our vacation, but at this point I'm not going to complain to anybody that my Disney vacation is for only 8 days instead of 9. They did try to get me onto a flight for the same day, but it would have meant taking my kids out of school for that day in order to get to the airport (we used to have an early evening flight). I just hope that this new flight doesn't get cancelled.
I have to say -- EVERY Delta agent I have dealt with over the past couple of days has been pleasant and professional and has tried to do everything they could to make me happy. I know they are under alot of stress right now, and probably worried about their jobs. The gentleman I just spoke to thanked me for not cancelling altogether and for trying to stick with it to make this vacation happen.
Everybody please -- give them a break. The agents that you are speaking to are not the ones who cancelled your flight. It's a difficult time and they are doing the best they can.
