Delta Discontinues Discount For Paying Bag Fees Online

Passengers will now pay the full price regardless of when or where they pay the fee.

A Delta rep tells the Atlanta Journal Constitution that it's a "competitive response" because no other U.S. airlines offer a similar discount.

Delta must need those extra 2 dollars per bag to pay for their new TV commercials that tell us how much they love us and appreciate our busniess!

So I guess SW not charging at all is technically not a "discount" right? I can't wait until the Airtran takeover is complete and we have a SW terminal at our airport.

Hmmm.. as of March, United still gave a discount for paying for bags online.
