I hear you loud and clear. The same thing happened to me.
I booked tickets at $208 each R/T on a Sunday night. And had until midnight Monday night to cancel. Well of course Tuesday AM when I checked the flight went down to $148 each R/T. Thats $60 each times 2..I was steaming. Well I called and talked to two different people and then a supervisor and got the standard I can rebook for you with the $50 change fee and I will have a $10 voucher..WOO HOO. Unreal, I explained to them I book most of my flights the last 5 years on Delta and this is the way they handle price drop...I'm not impressed. Of course I got nowhere. Just makes me so mad that there is not a rebook policy with no change fee. Not like the airlines are giving away seats. I know the cost of fuel and other things but come on...set a price and leave it don't piss off half the people that already bought tickets.
I just wanted to let you know your not alone....
Not that it makes it any better
