I've been watching and they've had flights go up and down, up and down. I got a good price to Orlando in August and booked it last week. Now I'm watching for return flights. One just dropped $60 but since we have time I will keep watching for the particular time I want.
They rarely do sales but sometimes they'll put up a seat or 2 for a cheaper price to match someone depending on the market they're trying to take share in (i.e. Seattle to Orlando ... taking market from AK Air).
Sometimes if you shift your days a bit it can help. On one of our upcoming Delta trips leaving 1 day later and returning 1 day later gave us significant savings.
We were lucky and got ours for Black Friday sales. We leave in May and fly from Victoria, BC to MCO return for 1200.00 CDN. Not too shabby! Although they are shifting the flights slightly. We have a 49 minute layover in Detroit which leaves me a little concerned.

They have a spring sale going on now. Sign up for email alerts via their web page. I also get alerts from airfarewatchdog. You put in your home airport and it will send you the fare deals as often as you like. Other than that just keep checking. My delta flights were running $500 and up for the week of Easter. They were down to $230 recently.
