Delivery to DLH?

DS has food allergies and we'll need to have some special food items for him for our vacation (almond milk, coconut milk yogurt and special snacks that he can eat etc...). To save us some time when we arrive, can we arrange to have things delivered to the DLH the day we arrive to save us the time of walking to a grocery store (our flight lands at SNA just after 2pm so we should be at the hotel no later than 3:30pm)? Will DLH accept the delivery for us or is it not a good idea if things (like the yogurt) need to be refrigerated?

And if this is a good plan, where is a good place to order from? We're in Canada and I have no clue about the grocery stores in the area and what may deliver.

We've ordered from Vons (part of Safeway) and had it delivered to DLH. You can choose your delivery window of time, so you can schedule it to arrive between 3:00 and 4:00. You can call the hotel and ask them to refrigerate your cold items if you haven't checked in. Our groceries arrived about 20 minutes after we arrived.

This trip, though, we're renting a car so we'll stop in at Trader Joe's near SNA. We went to one in Washington and I really like their store brand because everything doesn't contain artificial colours. Planning to stock up on their hot chocolate mix to bring home!

Thanks for that info. That would be so much easier-and faster-than walking the 30min to the stores that I found on google maps. Plus then we can get a little time in the park that afternoon (beats grocery shopping for me).

I love Trader Joe's. I was in Seattle last month and did my yearly stock-up there. DS was so happy when he saw his bag of milk protein free caramel popcorn for a treat and I'm stocked up on taco seasoning again.
