[*]From a national chain store (in this case, Sears)? Absolutely not!
Reason for this, is that most well-known retail stores have a policy of their employees not accepting gratuities -- if they do so, and word gets out (especially in a small area such as OP's home state), it could lead to someone's termination.
Honestly, for something called the "Budget Board", it seems everyone around here must be doing pretty well, financially if they can tip the driver from Sears...
