Delighted Dames do Disney and Dialysis!

Just started this pre-trip report over on the pre trip report board. I hope some of you who are desiring a trip to WDW but have questions on how to manage that on dialysis will join us for this verbal adventure as it unfolds. We are two retired teachers, one young and one old joining forces to do the MNSSHP and Food and Wine Festival while the "young 'un" is on dialysis three days a week.

Hey I'm txnana's traveling partner. You might have seen me post in some of the dialysis threads here on the disabilities board. Txnana has used a scooter before at the world, but this will be my first experience with one. It will also be my first time traveling on dialysis.

Both of us hope the trip report will have something for everyone and will inspire those of us with serious health issues to be bold, take a chance and enjoy the trip. I'm going to try and be really honest about my fears, my excitement, the highs and lows.

PS. Thanks to everyone on this board who has helped inspire me when I was a little panicky. Or who answered questions I didn't even know I had! This is a great community!
