Not being facetious, Gisele. Just saying that it might be fun to believe there are ghosts in DLR, but they are not real.

I, too, thought you were being facetious. I guess it's just odd to many that someone so enamored of Disney magic is so rooted to this world.

Until this thread, I never had heard that people saw ghosts at DLR. I guess I just see the magic in different ways.

I'm not surprised that there's urban legends and myths about ghosts at Disneyland. I've worked at a few different theme parks over the years and every park has stories about ghosts haunting one place or another. Most of them are just legends though. It's still fun to read and to consider. Some of the older amusement parks from the early 1900s just might actually be haunted.

To each there own with what we believe. I believe in ghosts, reincarnation and afterlife very much, so I never question that spirits can linger after traumatic deaths. The Deborah Stone death (crushed to death in America Sings walls) was a fact, and written about by the LA Times a few days later. Park goers claim to have heard a girls voice at the site saying "be careful" etc. Many stories are floating around about people being in the fifth row on Pirates and feeling an arm or hand behind them with no one there. There is a real human skull inside the ride and it was the last ride Walt ever rode right before his death. Fascinating stuff!

There is a real human skull in POTC? I don't recall having heard that before. Where did it come from? Where is it? How long has it been there? And most importantly who did it use to belong to? Lol

I heard that Walt Disney haunted the park and some of the people who were killed in accidents. Most of the accidents I 've heard of were caused by the guests themselves. I heard that Deborah Stone was alsp at fault since one of her fellow workers said she wasn't where she was suppose to be and keep playing around all the time?

Most of the skeletons in the ride were real. But with changing health laws they were removed and replaced with fake stuff. The skull built into the headboard of the bed is the only real one left (supposedly)

One of the deaths at DLR was a lady who was the daughter of a member of my church. It happened on Matterhorn. Although we never spoke about it openly, the pastor told me that he believed it was a suicide, that the lady purposely unfastened her belt and fell off the ride. No one will ever know for sure.
