Outlook express is deleting all of the replies to threads that I am getting. So I have to get my replies out of deleted mail. Can anyone suggest any settings for me to check to avoid this?

You probably have it set as a blocked sender in OE. Go to Tools, Message Rules, Blocked Sender List and see if Disboards, or similar, is there. If so, remove it.

Is there ANYTHING in message rules? This is a stretch, but you could have something in a junk filter that's coming through in the replies....

I just want to say thanks to the OP and to Dan. I had accidently blocked my dh's work address and couldn't figure out how to unblock it! Now I know.

Did you try closing Outlook after clearing the Message Rules & reopening? If that still hasn't fixed it, it may be in the security settings - but I can't think WHERE right now.

If you haven't found another solution, you could just create a new folder & redirect all DIS mail to it.

1. Go to one of the deleted messages & open it.
2. Choose “Message” from the menu.
3. From the drop down menu, choose “Create Rule from Message”
4. From the “New Mail Rule” window that appears, check:
a. Section 1: Where the From line contains people
b. Section 2: Copy it to the specified folder
c. Section 3: Click on the “specified” folder link.
5. From the “Copy” window that appears, highlight your “Inbox” and click “New Folder.”
6. In the “New Folder” window that appears, enter a new name, like The DIS & click OK.
7. You should be back to the “Copy” window. Highlight the new folder & click OK.
8. You should now be back at the “New Mail Rule” window. Check section 3 to see that it has been updated & click OK.

All mail from webmaster@wdwinfo.com should now be put in that folder.

How old is your baby now?

Thanks for asking! She's two months as of Sunday past. She's a pistol.

I'm pulling my hair playing with OE. Only a few options exist. We've killed the usual suspects. The only other things that could be going (and I doubt it) are some sort of security zone set up (did you recently put a parental filter in place? Some of them will automatically update Explorer and OE) that may, for some reason, not like the DIS. Or if you put any kind of popup device in place, or SPAM filter, it may be set to ignore autogenerated messages.

Just thoughts, but they're weak ones. Have your considered having a psychic look at your machine?
