Happy New Year Everyone, hope your holidays were happy
This report is a little delayed, we got back on the 17th of December (you know the story; shopping, decorating, cooking,visiting and work, etc..)
Stayed 6 nites at okw 2bdrm from December 10 to the 16th (me, dh, ds1,ds2,ds3, dmom & ds1gf)
What a great time to go, checked in at 10am and a 3rd floor golf course room was ready!
the afternoon we arrived we visited the resorts to check out all the amazing decorations
Sunday nite dinner at Whispering Cannon Cafe to celebrate Jenn's b'day, are waiter was great but disappointed because they forgot about the bday surprise. (told when reserved, reminded when giving name and then again when seated) DH had to write a note on our bill to TINY (waiter) and he did a great job.
Visited EPCOT 3 times to watch the fireworks, absolutely AMAZING.
LOVED all the house lights at MGM,
Did MVMCP Tuesday nite, arrived at 4:30pm, dinner ps at Liberty Tree at 5:40 to celebrate ds1 b'day. That was excellent, good food, good service, great pictures of the kids with all the charactors and fun Happy Birthday Surprise. Would eat there again. Loved the shows, loved the fireworks (epcot were favorites), parade was super. Left around 1:00am
The weather was cold at nite (40's) and most days where in the 60's and high 50's, so we layered up and bought those silly mickey santa hats.
and on Wednesday, we were IN the Jingle Jangle Parade at the animal kingdom, rode on the Mickey Mouse Float, that was sooo much fun.
This was such a great time to go, who knew you could find so much holiday spirit in the south when you are use to snow on the ground. DH now wants to do this every year.
If you have the chance, i strongly suggest you go at least once in your lifetime to the parks during this holiday season, its a magical time.
