Delayed confirmation?

I would have sworn I booked a hotel stay for December this morning at work. I put in my CC info, agreed to the terms and hit confirm. I quickly glanced at the next screen that seemed to say something about printing a confirmation. It was 100% a different screen than I had before.

Then we had a work fire pop up and in dealing with that I navigated away from the page. I keep waiting to get the confirmation in my email, but I still don’t have anything. This was probably 5-6 hours ago.

I seem to remember a delay when I booked our May trip, but this one seems longer. Is this normal? Or did I screw something up along the way?

In the past, I've had confirmations come instantly and have also waited 2-3 days. Can you check your credit card to see if there is a pending payment? I usually do that when in doubt.

It can be delayed. I have had some reservations I never got a confirmation email for. i have started taking a screen shot when I reserve so I have the confirmation number. Last time I bookedI got an email but it took 2 weeks for the deposit to be charged to my credit card. (Sorry I know that's not much help. If you don't get an email I would try calling them.)

I guess all I had to do was ask about it, because it just came through (6 hours later!). I still don’t see it on my CC, but at least we are moving in the right direction!
