Degrassi Old School

Last night, I was watching my guilty pleasure, "Degrassi the Next Generation" on The-N. They showed a promo that they will be showing the old Degrassi High and Junior High episodes. TiVo set. I think they'll be showing them Sun-Thu from midnight to 2am or so. I used to have such a crush on Joey Jeremiah . But now that he doesn't wear that hat anymore, I think I have lost the love for him.

Does anyone else watch the new Degrassi? Those promos they showed last night freaked me out. "This is where he goes to kill himself" - YIPES!

I admit it, I watch.

I didn't start watching The Next Generation until a few seasons into it (didn't get the channel that it came on until I finally got digital cable). Just watched the season premiere this weekend.

I LOVED the old Degrassi shows. I was so excited to see they are going to show the old ones! I have Degrassi Jr. High season 1 on DVD, season 2 is out, but I haven't gotten it yet. I think they are putting the whole thing on one DVD set, so I may wait and just buy that.

i remember when it all started as degrassi elementary school. i will def. have to check this out and set up the tivo-hubby and i will watch joey,snake and all the old gang. i have never been able to bring myself to watch the new ones.

I went to Kindergarten with the red headed twins (Erica & Heather) from the old degrassi high show. I really like the next generation but always seem to miss it.

Yup I watch it. It's an excellent program that I think is dealing very realistically with teens. I got hooked years ago on the "old" show and now I watch it and I'm 41! Since I'm going to be a parent to two teens some day I want all the education I can get.

I have watched this show since I was in the 7th grade (I believe I was 11 years old and I am now 34) and it is also a guilty pleasure of mine. I remember when Spike was pregnant in high school and now I am watching her daughter in high school. I do love this show and I am also going to watch the Old School and the Junior High again.

Back when I was in grade school, of course, Noggin wasn't around and I used to watch it on a tv station out of Canada (I was happy to live to close at the time). I am so glad they have put it on Noggin now!

They had two Jr. High episodes on last night and 2 High ones on. Some of the writing was so cheesy, but i just loved it. "Son, have you heard of crack?" I think it will be great for all of the new Degrassi fans to see Caitlin, Spike, Snake and Joey when they were young.

I love OLD degrassi!!! It was before my time but me and my friends have checked out every degrassi junior high and msot of high from our library. i lvoe the new one as well. when are the old ones playing?

I watch it every Friday. My husband thinks I'm nuts. Now I even watch Instant Star and Girl Vs. Boys since they're all on the same night.

Phew! It feels good to get that off my chest.

I occassionally watched it when we got the-N. I can remember watching the origional series in Junior high as part of a manditory class on things like peer pressure and such.

I don't have to worry about missing it. The-N is just like MTV....reruns the same show 800 times each week!
