Deferring a race

Hi all,

My wife and I just found out we are pregnant. We are excited, but also have Dopey entries. The baby is due January 5th, 2014.

What is the deferral process? Can I defer to Dopey 2015?

Congratulations!

Yes, you can defer. However, the deferral guidelines say you can only defer the marathon and half marathon distances, so I think it’s unclear if you will just need to defer to Goofy or just the marathon in 2015 or what. You need to e-mail Disney and ask for the deferral form. IIRC, it’s $35 or some other small fee.
