Am I correct that these aren't on the buffet but I can request them from our server? I've read a lot about the Chef making these for guests.:goodvibes

Is that sort of like consuming crisco thru an IV ? Cloggs the ateries just thinking about it. :scared:

I've been to Boma twice and from what I understand it depends on the chef you get. The first time I went we got these and OMG they are to die for!!! No request, they were just brought to our table. The 2nd time, we got nothing. I'm not sure if what I said is correct, but I don't think they are always available.

No matter what, far far far superior to those zebra domes ;)

I had to speak with one of the chef's about food allergies and I actually asked her about the oreos. She said she'd see what she could do...

She must have watched our table because as we were finishing up and about ready to head for desserts, she brought us some of the fried oreos...

While they are pretty good... I'd stick with the zebra domes (and the doh-bars at Cookes of Dublin). :goodvibes

We've eaten at Boma three times. The first time we didn't know about the fried oreos, but the last two times we asked the waitor about them and was told they are only prepared by one chef, when he's in the mood, and usually only for special occasions. We still haven't been able to try them unfortunately.
