I'm also on another board about Disney DVDs and people rave about this company. They just had a sale on these same DVDs that were all $8.98 buy two get one free- I'm really glad I held off!!! It's great that they've dropped the price!!! I think I'll finally put in my order

Unfortunately, I didn't place the order until this AM. I have ordered with them in the past, and have items that were out of stock canceled off my order because they never came back in. I have also preordered items, and received items previously backordered (I think...) weeks later. Their shipping can take a while. Unless they tell you differently, I don't know that I could depend on receiving a backordered item before Xmas. You could ask them the status of each item to be sure. I never had a problem with them or their customer service. You can't beat these prices. I ordered two Ozbourne dvds for DB, a Titanic dvd for my kids to give their dad, and a load of Bear and Disney Singalongs for DD3. If they don't come back in stock, I'll probably be kicking myself for not placing the order last night, but I'll have saved myself some $$.

Although 2 were not in stock, the 3rd one I picked was the new Star Wars movie coming out on 11/2. I got free shipping on that, and it counted as my first dvd. The second one was $5.99, and the 3rd was free!

I've ordered from them many times and have never had a problem. I agree with the above poster though, I wouldn't absolutely count on getting a back-ordered item by Xmas time.

Editing to add--I just went back to look at something else I was thinking about, and they raised the price back up to $8.97 today 3 CD's for $18 still is a pretty good deal, but not as good as 3 for $11.98. Oh well!

Shoot, looks like I missed out too this time! I've never had anything backordered either so I don't know how long it might take.

I tried to order nine and would have gotten three of those for free and all but one was backordered.

I can tell you that their regular prices are still the best anywhere so even if something isn't on sale, it's still a great deal, and they ALWAYS offer free shipping.

I compare them them all of the time to Amazon and once in a blue moon, Amazon will have something on sale for a couple of bucks cheaper, but DDDVD still consistently saves me way more.

Even eBay is usually considerably more because of the shipping costs. Plus on eBay, unless you know exactly who to deal with, you run the risk of getting a bootleg or one that will only play in a different region.

Wow, I ordered a couple of hours ago at the 5.99 price and was considering buying more. Glad I ordered when I did. I went and checked my order status and while all are on backorder, it says they expect to ship 11/05. This information is available when you log in and click on "order status".
