How long before your deed was recorded with resale and with Disney purchases? It's been 2 months and I'm just curious.

Usually much less than 2 months after closing (have you closed). It may have already been recorded. Go here: http://or.occompt.com/recorder/web/

Then click "I accept" and then on next page in the "Grantee" space put in your last name and first name (in that order and no comma) and click search.

That is the Orange County, Fl agency that records deeds and if yours is already in system you should get a hit showing your name and the ability to call up and download your deed (which you can print a copy of or download)

Are you in Member Services' computer system, yet? Have you been informed that your contract closed?

Hey....thanks for the info on the recorder's office. I found that my contract closed on 2/13 at 9:00 am. When should I be able to make reservations? How long until I get into the system?

Have been in system since December and have two reservations already Just wondered if I should worry that deed not recorded yet. Do I get something in the mail when it is?

I closed on a resale on 2/2 (not recorded yet) and I was in the system by the 7th of February when I went to add on at BLT.

Call member services. They were able to find my member number. Everything is in my account already.

You will be in DVC system and able to make reservations way before the deed is recorded by Orange County(no need to wait for that). You'd need to call MS to find out if you're in DVC system - usually takes 5 to 10 business days give or take.

Actually that isn't always true as I just checked that site, my resale closed on 2/6 was recorded on 2/9 but my points weren't in my account until 2/12

My deed has been recorded and MS tells me that it typically takes a week after closing until you are in the system. I just hope that I can get in at AKV during Memorial Day week...I don't need the weekend or the holiday just 3 or 4 days after.

We just closed on a resale and they said it would take 4-6 weeks before we got our deed in the mail.
