Deed Filing

Went to check - what I think is the right site to see if a deed has been recorded for our latest DVC purchase. I know it is a little early, but just wanted to check. Here is the link I used https://or.occompt.com/recorder/eagleweb/docSearch.jsp


What I do not see however, is the recording of the deed when we bought OKW a few years back.


I put our last name in every single field and still could not find it. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks all!

In “grantee” box put last and first name. See if that helps.

This is what I am seeing:
Mar 2004 we are the grantee: 1E TS: DISNEY S BEACH CLUB VILLAS I know this is when we first bought

Apr 2014 we are the grantee: Unit 30 of the Disney Vacation Club no where can I see it says OKW


This is what we owned when we first bought. We then sold that at bought OKW. I see nothing referencing OKW on any of the documents on the Comptroller site.?? Isn't it possible there are other Unit 30's?

OKW is recorded as Disney Vacation Club At Walt Disney World Resort. (It’s original name).

You found it! When they started they didn't really know if DVC would take or not and as mentioned OKW is actually deeded as Disney Vacation Club. It's similar for Boulder Ridge - new name they gave it but it's still deeded as Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
