I apologize if the first picture is sideways, although it might not be. Sometimes my pics look sideways to me, then I post, and everyone says they aren't!:confused3

There may be more than one way to do it, but this is the way that I am familiar with:

Post them to another site like Facebook, Myspace, or Photobucket. Then right click on the image and click on "properties". It will give you the web address for the image. You will then use the following code:
. Make sure you don't leave spaces.

Thanks. Why didn't I think of Photobucket as I use it on every other website I post to.

I have not yet read Marley & Me. A friend gave it to me for Christmas a few years ago, and at the time I couldn't bring myself to read it because of my older dogs. Now that they have both gone to doggie heaven, I think that I can read it, even though I know I will be crying my eyes out. The movie looks really cute.

This is Cookie~the most lovable dog in TN!...(aside from Gunner ;) )

There ya go Lisa!! :rotfl2:

OMG...Marley and Me...It was good but a huge tearjerker. A fellow dog lover also recommended The Art of Racing in the Rain. It is written from a dog's pov.

Rink's a Shih-Tzu... This was his first haircut that I attempted:

Humane Society Fundraiser... Pet Photos with Santa. We've done them every year, this is last years:

Yay more Shelties! Tell me, do they ever calm down and outgrow the puppy stage? :lmao:

BCV- Our 9 year old is an angel! He is calm but can still pull out the puppy energy when herding the kids or playing fetch. The puppy isn't too bad, he is a puppy after all. We seem to be struggling more with housebreaking with him than we did with the older one. They are so smart but are always going to be barkers! How is your pup with the housebreaking?

Wow I hardly ever see anyone with Chinese Cresteds.

That photo of Rink with Santa is adorable. I can't wait to get Brian's done this year.

I just got back from the vet. Brian had bronchitis! He has has a cough basically since I got him 3 weeks ago, and everyone'e been tellling me it's normal for a puppy to cough due to the change in environment. Well, that didn't make sense to me, so after doing some googling, we went to the vet.

I have to take him in twice a day for 10 days for nebulizer treatment, and the vet said he'll be fine. He wasn't eating because he didn't feel well, but after the first treatment today, he's perking up.

He's sleeping next to me right now, and it feels so good!

Poor baby, I'm glad he is on his way to recovery. You last line reminded me of this. Are you old enough to remember?

Thanks, this is 06's photo. They just turn out so good and it's such a great cause, I keep going back!

Sorry about your puppy. He's probably already feeling so much better and so happy to have you to curl up with! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Rink's a Shih-Tzu...

We love our Shih-Tzu; they just have the best temperaments. Your baby is adorable! Is it standard sized? Our daughter is the smaller variety.

Does anyone use a body harness and leash instead of a collar and leash to walk their doggies?

I remember Cesar Millan saying harnesses are for tracking and pulling, not for walking, but I don't feel comfortable putting a collar around Brian's tiny neck. I was thinking a harness would be more comfortable for him.

I'm preparing to get him used to being walked on a leash...so far, he's only house trained.
Thoughts?

Rink walks with a harness.

I was told, by our Vet, to do this after he had surgery on his nose. It was because Rink pulls and he choked himself a few times and before/shortly after his nose surgery he couldn't breathe through his nose.

It was a matter of making sure Oxygen could flow to his brain properly.

I never went to a regular collar for walking because he still pulls and the one from him being a puppy still fits sooo..

We use harnesses on 2 of our dogs. It's odd, because one of them (Teddy) would pull and pull with just a collar and a leash. He would pull so hard that he wouldn't breathe correctly and at times you could even feel the vibrations from his throat through the leash  . We tried the harness, and it became pretty evident that someone had previously trained him to walk with a harness. All of our dogs are rescue/adopted pooches so you never really know what you're gonna get. But walks have gotten much more pleasant since we've been using the harness.

It is recommended that most dogs use a harness...

Put it in perspective...would you want something around your neck, and someone pulling it as you walked.......

unless your into that sort of thing..:rotfl2:

I tried that with Erie and he ate the harness! I hold no delusions that Mattie wouldn't do the same. The problem is, when I get home they are bouncing around like maniacs. It's hard enough to get a leash clipped to a collar. There's no way I would be able to harness up two hyperactive puppies.
