I am going to Disney for a day this week. What day, Friday 1/2 or Saturday 1/3 do you think would be better for only looking at decorations with minimal if any rides?
 
I would go Friday. I would think that Saturday may be more crowded than Friday.

Don't misss the Grand Floridian lobby.
